The Town: An interesting mix of colonial buildings, modern shopping malls and traditional bahareque houses (made of clay or mud, reinforced with sticks or cane), Liberia is worth exploring. Buy local crafts or visit one of the many churches and immerse yourself in the friendly, warm culture.

Dive, Snorkel, Surf: With incredible waters, nature reserves and coral reefs, Liberia is an aquatic paradise. Witches Rock is considered one of the best surf spots in the country. When you tire of the water, lay on a white sand beach surrounded by tamarind trees and coconut palms.
